According to the latest Shipping Confidence Survey from Moore Stephens, overall confidence in the shipping industry rose in May of 2016.

The confidence expressed by owners increased markedly, and charterers were also more optimistic than they were in February of 2016.

Geographically speaking, confidence was up in Asia, Europe, and in North America.
